Experiments in NFT Collection Generation

The Collection

What I’ve Been Working On

For the past few months I’ve been going around and collecting textures from old scans and photographs I’ve taken throughout the years. Messing around in Photoshop and Illustrator, I created a ton of textured layers meant to combine in interesting, unique ways. Then, using a javascript based program on my computer, I prepare all the layers and their configurations. Using a bunch of specific libraries, the program is able to combine all the layers into curated, but randomized images with detailed properties associated to the images (their assets/descriptions/details).

Each piece is meant to represent a moment in time, describing the emotion of that moment, visually.

I’ve been tinkering with the layers and formula for several months now, as I want to get things as close to how I percieve them in my mind’s vision to be. Above is a preview of a few, the more common of the batch, just to get an idea, but I’m definetly changing and adapting them constantly.

The collection doesn’t have a formal name yet, but internally been calling it constitution, not cause of politics or anything, just what the art is composed made of and is put together. But not going to use that publicly lol.

The collection will likely be 256 pieces total, one edition per piece. I will likely launch it on ethereum, polygon, or solana (the last two being the almost no gas options).

This is just a preview of course, I don’t want to show everything pre-launch of course, but 50 should be enough to get a rough idea, right?
